Raster : In computer, a raster graphics image, or bitmap, is a data structure representing a generally rectangular grid of pixels, (or points of color).
They are visible with a monitor,on paper or other display media. Most pictures you see on your computer screen are raster graphics. Pictures found on the Web and photos you import from your digital camera are raster graphics too.
Most pixel-based image editors work using the RGB color model but some also allow the use of other color models such as the CMYK color model.
